Yunieski Maya

Yunieski Maya Mendizula (born August 28, 1981 in Pinar del Río, Cuba) is a righthanded pitcher with the Cuban national baseball team and Pinar del Río of the Cuban National Series[1]. He was part of the second place Cuban team at the 2006 World Baseball Classic.

Maya led the National Series with a 1.61 ERA in 2004-05, but followed that up with a poor 7-9 record (with a 3.79 ERA) in 2005-06[2].
