Yuha Desert

The Yuha Desert is a section of the Sonoran Desert, located in southern California in the United States along the border with Mexico. The desert is home to the Crucifixion Thorn Natural Area, as well as Vista de Anza Historical Monument and the Oyster Shell Beds. The desert is found to the west of Calexico and El Centro in Imperial County. Highway 98 cuts across the Yuha Desert near the international border.
