Yuen Long (KCR)

Yuen Long (元朗站) is a KCR station located in Yuen Long. It is an interchange between the West Rail and the Light Rail. It is between Kam Sheung Road and Long Ping stations on the West Rail and is the northeastern terminus for the Light Rail. It is an elevated through-station with an island platform.
Located at the north-eastern part of Yuen Long New Town, the station is quite popular for the abundance of residential buildings nearby. Developers continue to develop housing near the station, with hopes to further increase the usage of the station.

The West Rail trains are allocated to West Rail station platforms as follows:
- Platform 1: West Rail to Tuen Mun
- Platform 2: West Rail to Nam Cheong
Both platforms share the same island platform.

The Light Rail routes are departed from the platforms at the Light Rail station:
- 610: To Ferry Pier (via Tai Hing) at platform 3
- 614: To Ferry Pier (via Prime View) at platform 2
- 615: To Ferry Pier (via Leung King) at platform 4
- 761: To Tin Wing at platform 5
- 761P: To Tin Yat (Peak hours only. No service on Sundays and public holidays.) at platform 5
The station belongs to Zone 5 for single-ride ticket.

Feeder buses terminus is located at the Yuen Long (East) Bus Terminus which is located at the south of the Light Rail station, outside the Sun Yuen Long Centre.
