Yuba City High School is the oldest running high school in Yuba City, California, USA. The school was home to roughly 3,000 students before River Valley High School was opened in 2005. Their school colors are brown and gold. Their mascot is the "Honkers", a nickname for the Canadian Goose.

The school has 6 main halls where classes are in session.

[edit] Home Ec. Hall

The oldest existing building on campus where all the life management and domestic skills classes are held. This hall was recently renovated.

Hosts science and math classes.

[edit] Music Hall

Connected to the muti-purpose room this hall boasts only 2 actively used classrooms (Choir/Drama & Band/Orchesta).

Holds History and other various social science classes. Ironically there are no more language classes in here as of the 2005-2006 school year. (They have all been moved to portibles outside of East Buisness)

Connected to the West Business Hall which together make the largest math and English classes are held there.

Connected to the East Business Hall the East and West Business Halls hold English classes.

Yuba City High School is host to a basketball tournament called the Mel Good Classic, one of the biggest tournaments in Northern California. Teams from all over Northern California come to the school and are hosted by YCHS students.
