I have the manga were Ryo is writing to Amane, but I haven't read anything in the manga that says what happened to her or how. If it is mentioned in the manga, could you please tell me which volume it's in? {unsigned|4.229.90.185}}

Ok, you guys kept this inquiring. Now could you please answer the question I asked? I've read the manga but haven't found where it cleary states what happened to Amane. I refuse to believe she is dead until I have seen proof.

Also, you forgot Ryo has a mother. He wrote, "How are you and mother?".
