Sponge Bob Fair use?
I was notified on page report user fair use (search yskyflyer) that my imitation user box on Sponge Bob is using an image under fair use. Is that so bad that i should get rid of it. Also I know my user page has too many user boxes but i don't want to put the time into weeding out the more important ones.--E-Bod 03:48, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
- I have found Image:Lego Spongebob 2006 sets.jpg as a Free alternative. My userboxes have been shorted to Only wikipidia related userboxes and my unabridged userboxes are on User:Yskyflyer/My_User_Boxes.--E-Bod 16:33, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Your Wikibooks comment
It take it from your Wikibooks talk page that you want all messages to go here, regardless of which Wikimedia project they're about?
As for your comment, you miss the point. If you have a paper puzzle book that you bought from the newsagent, then if you're like many of us then you would solve the puzzles by writing/drawing on them in the book. On Wikibooks, where one copy is shared by everyone, solving them by writing on the puzzles themselves is nothing but vandalism. You are of course welcome to contribute solutions to the puzzles. My point is that this is to be done on the solution page, not on the puzzle page.
I wasn't quoting a Wikibooks policy. I was pointing out what follows directly from:
- the nature of Wikibooks and the Puzzles wikibook
- the existing structure of the Puzzles wikibook
- common sense
Even if what I was describing an official Wikibooks policy, I don't have to have quoted it word for word, do I? -- Smjg 11:37, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks I probably saw one coment the other user made and asumed that was the one you were talking about. Your wording is so persice, makes sence and sounded just like a wiki policy would be wored that i assumed it was an offical policy. and just coulden't find it. (i mean that as a complement)--E-Bod 21:34, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Removed out of context question
Would you like to point out where I have vandalised any article? I have always discussed any change made in an article, and if there was dissent I always listen to other user's points of view. however:
Wikipedia is an Encyclopedia. Article Talkpages are places to discuss issues with the document, the question was inapropriate to the rest of the discussion.
The reason you will rarely see any such question not relating to an article is because it is common practice to keep wikipedia as concise and clean as possible, removing any irrelevant content is therefore a productive measure, since it insures that users can quickly look at issues concerning the document, thus insuring the smooth running of Wikipedia.
The removal of the question had nothing to do with my Pov on wether Yoga is a purely-spiritual practice, and had solely to do with the reason given above. Sfacets 23:49, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'm Sorry I Shoululd not have called you a Vandal. A Vandle is an intentinally sabatoshes and i know you didn't, and Becouse Both of our view of how to handle the siduatin are legitament. I will remove/edit part of my Coment from your talk page. I just ment to say somting and it came out the wrong way. Just that Anit-Vandalism logo on your userbox with my memory of Editing talk pages on the Vandalism i mentioned it as vandalsim more as a joke that seems Really Bad. I just meant to point out a diffrent. I am sorry for any damage i caused. Please wait a while for me to change my post on your Talk page.--E-Bod 01:42, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

- I noticed you Deleted my Original Hurtful Coment while I was Re Writing it. If you Read my coment above and though i was going to remove it myself then what you did isn't isn't Vandalism and if you Archived it it still isn't but if you Just Deleted it becose you din't like it then it is Listed as Discouraged behavor under the Vandalsm page. Please let me remove my own Hurtul coments. Part of my coment was valit while most of it was not. I have removed the Irrelevent hurtfull parts but it is my resposibily to not slander your name, not your resonsibility to remove slander, unless you felt my coment was a peronal attack and i am Reall sorry i did that, but i already appoligized.--E-Bod 01:59, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, don't apologize! I know that edits can seem condtradictory and/or harsh at times, but where would Wikipedia be without the system of checks and balances, which calls into question these edits, and works towards getting popular justice? I do not view your comments as a personnal attack, perhaps I did convey a slight "snappiness" in my response, for which I would like to apologize.
All the best, :) Sfacets 02:19, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
When to post on WP:AIV
Hi. Thanks for your note. Generally speaking they should not be listed if they have not vandalised in the last two hours or they stopped after a warning. In this case they had not vandalised (or even edited) in 7 hours, which is why I removed them. Blocks are designed to prevent further vandalism, so if it is not continuing they are generally not used. If they begin to vandalise again after a long break, it is good practice to issue at least another warning before listing. Cheers TigerShark 01:32, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply. Honestly, I've only got installed so far. I don't know what I'm supposed to do next. Am I missing anything? I've downloaded everything I'm supposed to have. --D-Day(Wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?) 22:23, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

OK, I've downloaded everything, I just need to know how do I activate/use it for the first time? Much obliged, --D-Day(Wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?) 13:53, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Try Opening a page by adding what a Wiki-link would have into the Blank box above the word add in the (1) Make list aria and then clicking the item in the big box on the right and then going to (3) Start and Start Process. During One of These Steps It may ask you To log in (I use Firefox so I had to go into IE and add Wikipedia to my safe sight list)--E-Bod 16:37, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Alternative -- reply
Hey! I just made all the articles for the AVA songs. I just used the same genre that was on the main article for the album, that's why I put it so many times wrong. I'll try and fix it. My mistake, I'll look for those kind of things in the future. Thanks for caring! Happy editing! --Zingazin 18:18, 23 April 2006 (UTC) PS: I copied your user page for mine... I liked yours so I'll use it as a template. ^^

- Oh, sorry about that. I'll try to make my own user page later. If I need anything I'll ask you, thanks for your offering. Keep well.-Zingazin 22:51, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Mac's AWB
I've been approved for AutoWikiBrowser (Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage). I've downloaded it and the .NET framework. It opens fine, but after I log in, it tells me I am not authorized and in a sends me to the Check Page. -- Mac Davis] ⌇☢ ญƛ. 03:27, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Have you gotten AWB to work yet or do you still need help. I just started using AWB recently so I may have had the same problem--E-Bod 03:39, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Hi,
I noticed you were active on many pages in Wikipedia. My friends and I started a sports wiki/community that you may be interested in. It uses Wikipedia's software but we made a lot of technological improvements to allow for more news, opinion articles, and better integration of sports statistics. The site is located here: http://w-w-w-.-a-r-m-c-h-a-i-r-g-m-.-c-o-m-/.
