Youri Mulder

Youri Mulder (born in Bruxelles, March 23, 1969) is a former Belgian-born Dutch football (soccer) player in striker role, currently as sport commentator for NOS TV.

Son of former Ajax Amsterdam player Jan Mulder, he played in the Netherlands for Bussum and the Ajax youth teams and started his professional career for FC Twente. He played also in the German Bundesliga with FC Schalke 04, and won the UEFA Cup in 1997 and two German Cups in 2001 and 2002.

For Netherlands national football team Mulder played nine matches, scoring three times. He made his international debut on November 16, 1994 and participated at Euro 1996. Mulder retired in 2002.
