Young Doctor Malone

Young Doctor Malone was a television soap opera broadcast on NBC from 1958 through 1963. It was based on the radio serial created by Irna Phillips which ran from 1939 to 1960. The television series was written by Julian Funt and David Lesan.
The storyline followed the lives of father and son doctors Dr. Jerry Malone and Dr. David Malone. Jerry Malone was played by William Prince. His wife Tracy Malone was played first by Virginia Dwyer, then by Augusta Dabney. Prince and Dabney became real-life husband and wife in 1964.
Dr. David Malone was played by John Connell. Other familiar actors who appeared during the show's run include Nicolas Coster, Hugh Franklin, Joan Hackett, Diana Hyland, Emily McLaughlin, Dick Van Patten, Joyce Van Patten, Kathleen Widdoes, Ann Williams, and Lesley Woods.
