[edit] Huh?

This Musical artist has a hit song on BET why is this blocked from being recreated?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by PTWC (talkcontribs).

- exactly, it is on the yahoo! top 20 65.25.211.12 05:29, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Why was this article deleted? Was it completely racist, or what? User:Crad0010|Crad0010 18:37, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm going to join the chorus; the song Young B is featured on (Chicken Noodle Soup by DJ Webstar, mentioned actually in the article on "Chicken Noodle Soup") is pretty popular. Google Zeigeist and Yahoo should testify to that. Why has this article been protected? 68.227.66.2 02:44, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RACISM

Yall a bunch of racist people. Always setting up these rules. This dosen't make sence, that dosen't make sence. So? We still understand it. Who do you expect to read it. White people? That's if Whites can understand what Young B is doing but if not they its yall lost. Stop acting stingy and selfish and put the page back on or I'll make a new one. How bout that?

7:59 -> Saturday, November 4, 2006

For one, you can't. The article has been salted or prevented from recreation. Two, why it is that people complain about the rules. You don't pay the costs of this place. You don't have to deal with the vandals. Follow the rules and your articles stay, don't and they go. You'd never get Young B into a paper encyclopedia, but we're supposed to be different? Three, without the rules, you'd also have the REAL racists, like the neo-nazi's and all that crowd, editing Black People and Africa how they wanted it to be. It goes both ways. Don't like it? Too bad. --User:Elaragirl|Elaragirl ||||||User_Talk:Elaragirl|Talk|User:Elaragirl/EditCount|Count 17:23, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] You can't be serious

The rules didn't say "ask permission to make a page". The rules didn't say that. We make a page, then yall get Jealous or mad and delete the page because yall know her as a Black Girl. Yall don't want nothing gutter in yall website. I don't pay the costs but I have the ideas. I first made Team Arliss, then I madde Twilight the Rapper then that got deleted. They both black, all three of them. Yall are racist. I got love for white people, and I wanted to do yall a favor by putting a new White rapper on this website, but he's part of a black group so it won't work. I hate when yall delete our Black African American work. That's racism. You can call me a Nigga, Nigger, and a Coon, that's okay with me because I love that name to tell you the truth. But you being against us is racism. I'm telling you the truth, then yall going to have some nerve to ban me because of what I've say to yall before. What a pity. Yall better learn about this. I'm telling you.

[edit] WHAT!

I a'int gonna say y'all are racist, but I do believe this article should be put back up, cuz you say don't create articles bout yourselves BUT almost every wikipedia editor has there own page, what you do famous? This girl was in a song, you edit a website BIG DEAL if you ask me all the article sabout editors should be deleted! And Young B should be put back up! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.140.73.138 (talkcontribs).

  • How about learning punctuation, spelling, and why run-on sentences are bad. Then maybe people will lend weight to your arguments as more substantial than those of a child. Go see Deletion Review. |||||| E. Sn0 =31337Talk to me :D 19:37, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Not Right

I don't really think it is right. Well, she was in the chicken noodle soup song, which a lot of people like! So, can you please put it back up! Also to stop Wikipedia from getting called Racist!!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.140.73.138 (talkcontribs) 20:52, 3 December 2006 (UTC).

Once again, take it up with Deletion Review. |||||| E. Sn0 =31337Talk to me :D 21:02, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Who is ?

Who is this E. Sn0? She's mean! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.140.73.138 (talkcontribs).

Firstly, I'm not a girl, just a guy who likes pink. Secondly, I hear they frown upon personal attacks around here. Thirdly, sign your posts. Lastly and most important, come back when you have a valid case instead of misspelled and badly-punctuated whining. Have a nice day. |||||| E. Sn0 =31337Talk to me :D 21:57, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] See

Ya See E. Sn0 is mean, and WHO CARES ABOUR SPELLING AND PUNCTUATION!!!!...Other than you!

[edit] Don't Think (actually thinking is highly advised in this case -E. Sn0)

I hate to be captain obvious, but I read E. Sn0's page and he hates hip hop, and this girl was in a hip hop song, so I don't think she should be telling everybody this stuff. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.96.116.83 (talkcontribs).

Your title is an personal attack E. Sn0!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Blue Sand521 (talkcontribs).

  • Evidence for that assertion? I also like how you apparently sicced your meatpuppets on my user page. We get it: you don't like the fact the article was deleted. Present a case for undeletion or please move on and contribute productively. |||||| E. Sn0 =31337Talk 00:08, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fine

You want a real reason fine, and before I start I just want to say, I'm not real concerened about spelling, punctuation, or any thing else gramatical. Young B should be put back up because she was in as song, more importantly a single, and it is a very popular song too. She sung every part in it except fot the backround voices, even though she is listed as "featured." I am not being bias either. This is also a hip hop song that doesn't use any bad language, unlike any hip-hop, pop, rock, metal, etc. songs do. And also I am sorry for the personal attacks and the deletion of E. Sn0's page. Thank You216.96.116.83 00:19, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

How does this satisfy WP:NN? I've also already notified Admins to help resolve this conflict. She was in a song. Please bring more evidence to the table as to why she is notable and encyclopedic. Thank you. |||||| E. Sn0 =31337Talk 00:23, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New Reason

She's encyclopedic because she has a big fanbase before this song such as when Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera had their first songs. 216.96.116.83 00:31, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Okay, bring some evidence she was in multiple external sources such as websites, TV shows, or magazine articles; preferably all three. WP:NN says a topic is notable if it has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works, whose sources are independent of the subject itself. Remember, the burden of proof is upon you to find these sources and verify that they pass WP:NN. Thank you.

And many people will stop thinking Wikipedia is racist. 216.96.116.83 00:31, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

  • I challenge you to prove your assertion that the opinion of Wikipedia is as a racist website. If you cannot, you must retract that statement as unfounded speculation. |||||| E. Sn0 =31337Talk 00:37, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Getting a new article

Hey chief, thanks for caring. I can see you really want an encyclopedia article on this person. However, you can argue on this page til you're blue in the face, but it won't make any difference, and no one you've been talking is an administrator anyway. If you really want your article back, someone already said to go to deletion review. As you may not know where that is, I will give you the link: WP:DRV. However, you will want to be able to give arguments as to why your article passes the notability guidelines for singers - see WP:MUSIC. Please remember, Wikipedia is a private encyclopedia, and they're under no obligation to print everything that people want to add; this is stated right in the core philosophy of Wikipedia at WP:NOT, as in "Wikipedia does not collect every piece of information that ever existed, only notable information". So, I hope this helps, and good luck with the deletion review. -Patstuarttalk|edits 13:54, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

And BTW, please don't call us racists. It just makes your argument look silly - there is no cabal. Patstuarttalk|edits 13:55, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] No

You must of misunderstood me, I was simply saying that because, I read the other discussions and they called you racist, and I'm saying your not, and if you put her back up, you may stop getting called racist.216.96.118.208 20:18, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, I'm glad you don't think we're racists. But, as I said, you can complain til high hell, and your page won't come back until you go to deletion review (and even then it probably won't). And we're not going to bring it back just so someone can stop claiming we're racists - that's blackmail. And we're certainly not going to include every non-notable person of a certain race, just so we won't be accused of it. We treat everyone equally. -Patstuarttalk|edits 20:30, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
And, now that I see this artist has a hit that's been played on BET, you just might get the deletion review to work - it may pass WP:MUSIC (depending on how much it's been played). But like I said, please go through that process, or we can't help you. -Patstuarttalk|edits 20:32, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The admin who closed this article is dumb and out of touch

DJ Webstar's "Chicken Noodle Soup" featuring Young B was in MTV's top 10 hip-hop music videos list for a really long time as well as other top 10 lists such as Yahoo Launch's, indicative of the fact that this song is extremely popular.

So, clearly, Young B is NOT a "nonnotable rapper" as the admin claims she is.

As for claims that the admin was racist... chill out. The admin probably wasn't in touch with pop culture. There are tons of articles on wikipedia that are about black people. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.73.154.207 (talk) 00:42, 10 December 2006 (UTC).

While I doubt Young B would satisfy the requirements WP:BIO and WP:MUSIC set for inclusion, DJ Webstar has an articlethat needs work. Cheers. L0b0t 04:43, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
How many times do we have to tell you? Go to deletion review. -Patstuarttalk|edits 04:49, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
