Yoshida, Niigata

Yoshida (吉田町; -machi) was a town located in Nishikanbara District, Niigata, Japan.

As of April 1, 2005, the town has an estimated population of 24,937. The total area is 32.00 km².

The town merged with the city of Tsubame and the town of Bunsui on March 20, 2006 to form the city of Tsubame and the town no longer exist.

  • The town was merged with the city of Tsubame and the town of Bunsui on March 20, 2006 to form the city of Tsubame. Their old town hall is now converted into the new Tsubame City Hall for a while and then move into their new city hall within the town.
