York Regional Road 67 or McCowan Road is a north-south street originating in Scarborough, Ontario in the City of Toronto, which travels in York Region through Markham, Whitchurch-Stouffville, East Gwillimbury, and Georgina .

North of Steeles Avenue, York Regional Road 67 is now named McCowan (once Concession Road 7), from Steeles Avenue northwards to Base Line Road in Georgina, just south of Lake Simcoe, and west of the community of Sutton.

[edit] Public Transportation along York Regional Road 67

There is access in Markham to Highway 407 (Exit 90), and Stouffville GO Trains from Centennial Station. McCowan (VIVA) is the temporary eastern terminus for the Viva (bus rapid transit) project in York Region (to be extended to Ninth Line upon completion of a new YRT bus terminal).

There is only one bus route in York Region along York Regional Road 67:

Named for James McCowan, a Scottish family patriarch that settled in the area in 1833. The street, the former Lot 22, and later McCowan's Sideroad (officially called McCowan Road by Scarborough Township in 1956), begins at Kingston Road and ends (in Toronto) at Steeles Avenue.
