This project is in Wikipedia improving GTA's geographical stub pages, by adding more articles about York Region's Roads, and putting them into more organize categories.

[edit] Different Phrases of the Project and Projected Completion Dates
Overall project should be completed by January 2009
CURRENTLY ON→Phrase One: Construction of this page is ongoing. Our goal is to move all roads with a York Regional Road identity to a new category of York Regional Roads. Also, place all regional roads into a list (should finish by February 2007)
STARTING ON →Phrase Two: Separate roads into municipal categories, such as "Roads in Markham", or "Roads in Vaughan", etc. (should finish by April 2007)
Phrase Three Further separate roads in municipal categories into "aterial roads", "collector roads", and "local roads". (should finish by June 2007)
Phrase Four: Change name Roads in York Region into Highways in York Region (should finish by September 2007)
Phrase Five: "Roads in York Region" would grow and be the head of all subcategories. This category would deplete. The position of this category amongst others would be more symbolic. This category would only hold local and collector roads in York Region without a York Regional Road identity. The same road would also appear in their municipality categories. (should finish by November 2007)
Phrase Six: Fix all the stubs in the categories, to make these articles to be more fuller. (should be finished by January 2008)

Until November 26, 2006, 7 regional roads were put into a new category of York Regional Roads. All York Regional Roads are put into a list on November 28, 2006.

Phrase Two already launched on November 24, 2006. Municipality Categories are created, such as Roads in Vaughan.
