York Guardian

The York Guardian is a weekly tabloid format newspaper that publishes each Friday. The newspaper is published by Toronto Community News, a division of Metroland Media Group, which also publishes The North York Mirror, The East York Mirror, The Beaches-Riverdale Mirror, The Scarborough Mirror, The Etobicoke Guardian and The Bloor-West Villager.

The York Guardian began publishing on September 8, 1996. The newspaper serves what they deem to be "Canada's most diverse community". Forty-thousand copies of the paper are printed each week, 30,000 of which are delivered direct to homes.
