Yongpyeong is a district (myeon) of Pyeongchang County in Gangwon-do, South Korea.
It is best known for its ski resort (whose office is actually not in Yongpyeong-myeon but in Doam-myeon) with a peak at 1,438 metres or 4,717 feet. Some scenes of the popular drama Winter Sonata were filmed at the resort.
