Yohken Asakura

Yohken Asakura (麻倉葉賢 Asakura Yōken) is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Shaman King.
Yohken Asakura is an ancestor of Yoh Asakura who lived around 500 years ago. Following his duty as a member of the Asakura family, Yohken entered the Shaman Fight of 500 years ago to defeat Hao Asakura. He successfully accomplished with task with the help of Matamune, Hao's former companion.
After his death (which was probably shortly after he managed to defeat Hao), Yohken became trapped in Hell, trapped by the guilt he felt at having killed another. The memory of killing Hao stayed fresh in Yohken's mind, to the extent that he lost any conception of the passing of time, and even 500 years later it seemed like only yesterday to him.
In the manga, when Yoh went to hell to train, Yohken was his first opponent. Yoh managed to defeat him and caused Yohken to come to his senses. Realizing what had happened to him, he taught Yoh a little more about the history of the Asakura family. Soon after, one of the Chou-Oni came and shattered Yohken's soul. After Yoh got back to the Patch village, Yohken went with him and stayed with the rest of the Asakura family.

Fudou Kanashibari no Jutsu (Immobilisation Binding Technique)- a technique which binds and immobilizes the target.
OverSoul Onigoroshi (Demon Killer)- Yohken used this with Matamune, using his Shakujou as his medium. In the manga, it was the same OverSoul that Yoh used when he saved Anna from the Oni, although Yohken uses his Shakujou (ring-topped Buddhist priests' staff) as the medium.
KengaiDouji (Sword Wielding Child)- a Shikigami (more specifically a Gohou or Guardian Shikigami) used by Yohken. It appears as a small child-like figure wielding a sword, and wearing a necklace of swords.
ShugenKijinShiekihouGokugi Kamaizuna (Shugendou Demon-God Controlling Ultimate Technique - Vacuum Scythe Rope)- Yohken's ultimate technique, and the one used to deliver the final blow to the Patch Hao.
