Talk:Yodels

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm requesting a citation on the calorie content of this. I suspect the individual read the package wrong. It says 440 calories a cake. How big is a cake? www.calorieking.com doesn't have Yodels listed, but at HoHos (which are apparently similar, I've never seen Yodels) the amount was originally the same at the article, but according to calorie king, it was wrong. I suspect its 440 calories for a package of them. The amount given is larger than a super-sized Big Mac meal.

Here's the numbers: 4 calories per gram. I'm looking a similar package of Zingers (I know they're not the same, but they can't be that different), it reads 120 grams (3 cakes). Total = 480 calories (package says 470, so we're close). If, at 4 calories/gram, 1320/4=440 grams per cake (in other words, each Yodel is the size of a whole package of HoHos, hard to believe). But since I've never seen them, I'll let someone else change it.Rt66lt 17:07, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

Also, is it absolutely necessary to mention the Simpsons on damned near every page of Wikipedia? I love the show, but it seems like almost every page, there's something that begins with "In The Simpsons episode..." Nothing mentioned here really benefits the rest of the article.Rt66lt 17:14, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Yodels/HoHos

Aside from my regional bias towards Drake's products, which leads me to buy Yodels occasionally but never HoHos (yes, even though they are now made by the same conglomerate), I can see no significant difference between the two products, so I would assume the calories are similar.--Mjj237 14:57, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
