[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia!
Hello Yiddophile, welcome to Wikipedia!
I noticed nobody had said hi yet... Hi!

As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

[edit] ABC World News Now
Hi, the picture you added of Aaron Brown and Elmo has a date of 1996 across the front. Are you sure this is not Mark Mullen? The woman appears to be Thalia Assuras. Can you please double check this? H2O 06:56, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Hey, H2O. How's that whole 118.5 degree bondage thing going? [grin]
(Offended readers are uncircumcised savages who should take remedial high school chemistry before whining.)
I have no idea about the woman or the exact date. But I can assure you it's Anderson Cooper. Nevermind the voice on the tape, just look at him!

[edit] License tagging for Image:Pintauro WTB.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Pintauro WTB.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:06, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Speech synthesis up for FAR
Hi there,
You're listed in the edit history of this article. I wonder whether you're able to help bring it up to FA standard again? Please see WP:FAR#Speech_synthesis.

[edit] Holmes on Homes
Hi Yiddophile. Sorry but there was already an article on Holmes on Homes. - Cybergoth 05:39, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Heya Cybergoth! Fellow (former) Torontonian, miss it every day that I'm away. Yah, discovered the Holmes on Homes site after posting. Big fan, was amazed that there wasn't a page for him (or that I didn't find it!). I work at Home Depot while paying my way through an engineering degree, so I get to see all the crappy wanna-be contractors coming in to see us. It's incredibly tough to dissuade them from doing things like connecting water heater gas lines with vinyl tubing... without reminding them that they're (obviously) unlicensed to do the work they've undertaken. (No wonder I drink.)
