Yi County

Yi County is a county in Anhui under the jurisdiction of Huangshan City. Its population is 100,000 and its area is 847 square kilometers. The government of Yi County is located in Biyang Town. Several places in Yi County are part of World Heritage Sites.
Yi County has jurisdiction over 3 towns and 9 townships.

During the 16th century, Yi County flourished, and thousands of buildings in the style of Ming Dynasty were built. These buildings are used extensively by the Chinese film industry today, and famous film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed in Yi County.
