YFriday are a British Christian rock and worship band from Newcastle upon Tyne. The current band members are Ken Riley (vocals and guitars), Gav Richards (keyboards, guitars and backing vocals), Danny Smith (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Dez Minto (drums).

The group was formed in 1994 and were originally a evangelistic outreach band known as WhyFriday?. They often play at The Newcastle City Hall at the monthly IXth Hour events. In summer 2006 they were heavily involved with NE1
