Yeti are an English rock band fronted by John Hassall, formerly of The Libertines. He met bassist Brendan Kersey, lead guitarist Andy Deian Jung and guitarist Harmony Williams through mutual friends, and the lineup was completed when drummer Graham Blacow responded to a classified ad.

Hassall writes most of Yeti's songs, but Williams has also penned several and sings lead on his own songs. The band plays acoustic driven beat pop with a psychedelic 60's flavour and strong harmonies. Influences include The La's, Bob Dylan, Love, The Doors, The Byrds, and The Beatles. Their debut single Never Lose Your Sense of Wonder was released in March 2005 and reached number 36 in the British charts. Keep Pushin' On was released in August 29th 2005 under Moshi Moshi Records and reached #57.

The band withdrew into semi-mythical obscurity after a lengthy legal battle with crooked management and a string of ill-fated European dates with Oasis where Yeti failed to make it to any venue earlier than 5 minutes before being due on stage.

As of 2006, Yeti are working on their debut album. The band released an EP, One Eye on the Banquet, at the end of October 2006.
