"Yes It Is" is a Beatles song, which was first released as the B-side of "Ticket To Ride". It is distinctive, along with "This Boy", as a fine example of The Beatles' luscious three-part vocal harmonies. It also showcases George Harrison's early use of pedal tone guitar.
The song appears on Beatles VI, the British version of the Rarities album, Anthology 2, and Past Masters, Volume One.
John Lennon, the author of the song, claimed that it was simply "This Boy" re-written.[citation needed] It would later be dubbed one of Lennon's least favourite compositions.
