Yellow-headed jawfish, Opistognathus aurifrons, live in coral reefs. They use their mouths like scoops to dig burrows in the sand. Males also use their mouths to carry eggs until they hatch.

These fish have a wonderful building propensity. They are often seen carrying (in their mouths) pieces of shell from one location to another, or from out of their burrows, and placing them in more preferred locations.
