The Yellow-rumped Honeyguide (Indicator xanthonotus) is a bird that is native to India. It is found along the Himalayas and like other honeyguides it leads humans and bears to bee hives. They are among a few vertebrates capable of feeding on bees-wax.
They are brood parasites, laying their eggs in the nest of host species. The host species for the Yellow-rumped Honeyguide are as yet unknown and undocumented. The male are polygynous and have lekking displays.
