The Yellow-banded Poison Dart (or Yellow-banded Poison Frog), Dendrobates leucomelas, is a type of Poison dart frog found in nature in the northern part of South America. This amphibian is normally found in very humid conditions on trees or rocks.

This is one of the more commonly-available and popular dart frog pet species, and specimens are available for breeding by hobbyists.
