Yearbook of International Organizations
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The most up-to-date and comprehensive reference to international organizations published (under current title since 1950) by the Union of International Associations (UIA).
Unchallenged in this field of reference since 1910, the Yearbook of International Organizations (guide to global civil society networks) provides the most extensive coverage of non-profit international organizations available today, whether governmental or non-governmental.
Not just a directory of names and addresses, the Yearbook gives you the most detailed and up-to-date profiles of organizations at work in the world today. Directly reflecting a dynamic international arena, it contains entries on almost 50,000 most important organizations active in about 300 countries and territories.
It profiles international non-governmental and intergovernmental organizations. There are all types of organization, from formal structures to informal networks, from professional bodies to recreational clubs. It does not, however, include for-profit enterprises.
Published in five book volumes, on CD-ROM and online.
