Year of the Rabbit is an alternative rock band comprised of Ken Andrews (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Tim Dow (drums, background vocals), Jeff Garber (lead guitar, background vocals) and Solomon Synder (bass guitar, background vocals). Their first significant release, Year of the Rabbit, was by the Elektra Records label.

In April 2004 frontman Ken Andrews declared on his official homepage that the band had been put on indefinite hiatus, saying that the main reason for the hiatus was that the band's record label had ceased to exist.
