Yazid ibn al-Muhallab

Yazid ibn al-Muhallab (672 - 720) was a provincial governor in the time of the Umayyad dynasty. He became the governor of Khorasan in the early 8th century. Through conflict with Al-Hajjaj bin Yousef, he was jailed by al-Walid, the caliph at the time. He was killed when he rebelled against the caliph.
