Yatsuhashi

Yatsuhashi (八ツ橋 or 八橋) is a Japanese kind of confectionary, a form of miyagegashi (sweet sold mainly as a souvenir) only sold in Kyoto. It's made from joushinko (a pulver made from rice), sugar and cinnamon. It is often eaten wrapped around red bean paste (餡, an).
