Yasutomo Nagai

Yasutomo Nagai is a deceased motor cycle racer from Japan, born 29 October 1965 in Koshigaya. He died two days after crashing at Assen, Holland in a World Superbike race in 1995, riding a Yamaha [1].
He took two pole positions in the series, becoming the first Japanese to take a WSBK pole outside Japan in Austria earlier in 1995, and four podiums. Despite not starting the final 2 rounds of the season he was 5th overall in the 1995 standings.
Prior to this he had raced in Japan's Superbike championship for many years, spending 7 years with Yamaha.
