[edit] Trivia
- He once voiced an earlier version of the same character as Nobutoshi Kanna (Knuckles the Echidna); in Get Backers, his character is a mentor to Nobutoshi's (Wan Paul to Nobutoshi's Midou Ban).
- In the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II, the choice of seiyū for Megara may be a pun: Yasunori voices Hercules (Megara's love interest), while Megara is voiced by another Matsumoto (Rika, though they are unrelated). It should also be noted that Kirk Thornton, who dubbed one of Yasunori's characters (Seta in Love Hina), was cast in the English release as Saïx.
