Yasser Al-Qahtani (Arabic: ياسر القحطاني‎) (born October 10, 1982) is a Saudi Arabian football (soccer) player. He plays in the Saudi Arabian national football team and also in the Al-Hilal team. He played at the 2006 FIFA World Cup where he scored a goal in the match with Tunisia. He is definitely the best striker Saudi Arabia has right now, with his dribbling skills and shooting its not going to take much to raise up eyebrows of people. There have been talks that he is joining club in Europe. In 2006 his club rejected a move for him to Persepolis FC of the IPL and he just might make a move to Galatasaray in Turkey. His decision and the clubs decision should be clear in 2007, Yasser knows that Persepolis and Galatasaray is a much more skilled teams than Al-Hilal, Yasser has shown enthusiasm about the moves but Al-Hilal are not and are planning to reject the offers without Yasser having a say.
