Some yari were shorter than three meters ([1] says 3-4 shaku for a te yari, roughly 90 - 120 cm), so I changed accordingly. Tjunier 08:46, 16 Sep 2003 (UTC)
One picture caption should read "with saya" instead of "sith saya" but I can't find it to change it. Liastnir
- thank you for the tip, corrected. You can actually use the "find" fuction (Ctrl-F) of you browser to locate text in the editor form, if needed. Cheers ! Rama 09:02, 26 August 2005 (UTC)
Plausibility "while the katana was more than capable of splitting a man in half through his armor" Cutting a man in half I can see, but I doubt that a Katana would have the force to do it through armour, under any plausible circumstances. If no one objects I'm going to edit this out shortly. To be left in I'd recomend a source for that and a justification as to its reliability--in European documents at least most representations of swordstrokes through armour are downright fantastical.
