Yamakita, Kanagawa

Yamakita (山北町; -machi) is a town located in Ashigarakami District, Kanagawa, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 12,840 and a density of 57.14 persons per km². The total area is 224.70 km².

It is the family name of Yukie Yamakita from Osaka.
