Yamada Shinryukan

Yamada Shinryukan a semi-famous swordsman following the Edo period of the 17th century of Japan. Shinryukan was a noted teacher of the kusarigama (basically a chained sickle) who killed many rivaling swordsman with his superb skills. Shinryukan met quite an adversary however when he fought against the semi-famous swordsman, Araki Mataemon. Throughout their battle, Shinryukan ended up being lured into a bamboo grove, in which Matemon seized the chance to cut him down.
