Yalxoroj

The mountain village of Yalxoroj (Ялхорой) is located in the Galanchozh district of Chechnya. The Yalxoroj teip (clan) dominates this village which is its namesake. The first president of the Chechen Republic, Dzhokhar Dudaev (1944- 1996) was born here.
