Yairi

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yairi is the name of two Japanese luthiers, who build hand-made acoustic guitars.

In the 1960s and 70s Sada Yairi, made guitars under the S. Yairi name.

Sada's son Kazuo Yairi began serving his apprenticeship when he was eleven years old [citation needed]. He now produces his own guitars under the K. Yairi name. The guitars are all hand-made by Yairi in Kani, Gifu, Japan. Yairi guitars are distributed by Alvarez in the USA, as Alvarez-Yairi.
