[edit] Summary
This picture shows an early version of the Yahtzee instruction manual. The professor logo is clearly visible here, as is the slogan "The fun game that makes thinking fun!". Yahtzee is a trademark of Hasbro.
[edit] Licensing
I created this image of the Yahtzee instructions.
This image is of a board game cover, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by the publisher of the board game. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of board game covers
- to illustrate the board game in question,
- on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation,
qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Fair use for more information.
To the uploader: please add a detailed fair use rationale for each use, as described on Wikipedia:Image description page, as well as the source of the work and copyright information.
[edit] Fair Use For Yahtzee
-This is an image of an early game instruction guide and is of historical interest.
-The use of this image can in no way be used to inhibit the sale or disparage the reputation of the said game.
-The copyright of the game and its contents was filed in 1956 by the now non-existent E.S. Lowe company.
-The current Yahtzee game does not use any name or phrase contained on this cover (other than the trademark Yahtzee)
