Vandal Proof
Thanks for the note. Your one true god is David P. A. Hunter, esq. III Talk to me! 06:40, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Thank you from User:Playnine9
Thanks for fixing my User Page by removing the primate category. I do want the primate stub joke to be there, but don't want to intrude on the actual category. ;-)

Declination for VandalProof
No, it's perfectly alright. However, may I point out that the VandalHunter account is in fact Wikipedian Ben Tibbetts, who has well over 1000 edits in the article mainspace. I do not indeed take the declination personally but I do respectfully suggest that you investigate more deeply in the matter of how trustworthy a user may be than merely examining their edit count, which is both misleading and (in this case) blatantly inaccurate in regards to their level of experience. It says on both user pages that VandalHunter and Ben Tibbetts are one and the same; however, it can be verified easily if you wish.

- I posted two messages on the VandalHunter user page, each under my two usernames. Sorry about the delay; I'm gone on a trip at the moment and working off a local library's computer (blasted Macs!). ;) VandalHunter 23:25, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
thank you
Thanks a lot for approving me to use VandalProof. Now I can fight vandalism efficiently! -- Chris Ccool2ax contrib. 15:21, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Kleeneze
I don't 100% agree with the removal of the neighbourhoodwatch link, as that is an association Kleeneze is/was strongly linked with. Also the spamtag used to be left on the article as it attracts spam due to the nature of the firm. I had to remove a few entries myself. Agathoclea 23:39, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- That developement is new to me, and your idea seems fine. The keeping of the spamtag was not my idea but I found it on the discussion page of the article but commenting is better. Agathoclea 07:37, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

when the levee breaks
Coldplays "In My Place" is not a song that has sampled "When The Levee Breaks". It has a vaguely similar drum rhythm at the start, that is all. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.148.105.131 (talk • contribs) .

Wikipedia Research Survey Request
Hello, I am a member of a research group at Palo Alto Research Center (formerly known as Xerox PARC) studying how conflicts occur and resolve on Wikipedia. Due to your experience in conflict resolution on Wikipedia (e.g., as a member of the Mediation Cabal) we’re extremely interested in your insights on this topic. We have a survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=400792384029 which we are inviting a few selected Wikipedians to participate in, and we would be extremely appreciative if you would take the time to complete it. As a token of our gratitude, we would like to present you with a PARC research star upon completion. Thank you for your time.

Removing my edit of the Aeon Flux page
This was completely unneccessary. That part of the article was badly formatted to the point of being unclear and I would have thought the fact that I removed several hundred hyphens while leaving the text intact would have made that abundantly clear. I do not appreciate the 'vandalism' tag you have given me for this. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 143.52.5.181 (talk • contribs) .
- Just thought I'd chime in; the super-hyphenated text you, 143.52.5.181, tried to improve upon is a block of probably copyrighted text that another IP-varying vandal has been inserting into the article for weeks. Tarc 21:13, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Goldom's RFA thanks
Thank you for your support on my RFA, which closed successfully this morning with a result of (53/2/1). I've spent the day trying out the new tools, and trying not to mess things up too badly :). I was quite thrilled with all the support, both from the people I see around every day, as well as many users who I didn't know from before, yet wrote such wonderful things about me. I look forward to helping to serve all of you, and the project. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with. -Goldom ‽‽‽ ⁂ 04:42, 13 August 2006 (UTC) |
