[edit] Challenge

Started discussion on Light current's page to challenge 'not notable' tag. Noah 23:31, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

After discussion, light current has agree'd to remove the tag. Noah 23:43, 12 December 2005 (UTC)

Regarding the removal of "Xuqalebrities" as vanity information, consider that you allow key personalities on /. (CmdrTaco, etc.) to stay on wikipedia.

[edit] Worthy of Deletion?

For those Wikipedians who follow the message board articles, it's crazy that this is allowed, especially about XuQalebrities, meanwhile LUE, LUELinks, and LUEshi have been repeatedly denied their own article and/or deleted and merged into GameFAQs. XuQa is certainly not notable on the Internet or anywhere outside of XuQa itself. Steve McLinden 03:24, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Xuqa is notable, because it has more users than Facebook did in almost a year. It is the first site of its kind to use unique APIs, and also to allow 3rd party development of even more APIs. No names are mentioned in the Xuqalebrities discussion, and if they were, I would remove them myself. Noah 04:24, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
I agree with Noah. XuQa is an up-and-coming "competitor" facebook site, and even if it is not as widely known or popular as facebook.com, it is still a thriving internet community in its own right with its own subculture, traditions, etc. That CS Guy 04:58, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External Links

Ricanboy718: Please stop fighting us on the formatting of the external links. We want the descriptions to remain uniform, and none of them to be bolded or italicized. Thanks. Noah 05:39, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Nowhere does it say official site descriptions must be bolded. If you could post a link to that information I will gladly let it go. Thanks. Noah 06:17, 6 February 2006 (UTC)

Hey, I know the rest of the founders: Ali Moiz and Prosper Nwankpa. Think you should add them on there too.

[edit] Stub?

Given the article is currenty fleshed out to a suprising degree, I don't think the "stub" label remains relevant.

If anyone disagrees, feel free to add it back, I suppose. Nedlum 01:56, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Also, "Begs the question" is used wrong, but I know that fight is lost

"All this begs the question of, "Is there life after deactivation?""

Does this line actually help the article? I can't see its purpose. Nedlum 04:31, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
