Xue Cong an adviser of the Three Kingdoms Period that served under that of Sun Quan. Through an invitation by Sun Quan, Cong became one of his advisers. Cong was a master at cival affairs and Wu's foremost literary scholar. At one time Cong challenged Zhuge Liang to a battle of words, and like many others he lost.
