Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Ashley Judd. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. There is no discussion. Read WP:EL. The link you are adding to Ashley Judd is inappropriate, please stop doing it. --Yamla 01:01, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
I didn't mean that to come across quite so aggressively. Nevertheless, your link is still inappropriate. If you think it is acceptable under the terms of WP:EL, please explain. --Yamla 01:03, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
I have responded to your comments but due to the length, do not plan on copying and pasting it back here (as I would normally do). I welcome any response from you and thank you for your time. --Yamla 02:03, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion from Talk Pages

You said: "The user Wahkeenah has posted a link, that you deleted from the Exit To Eden (film) article, into the Exit to Eden Talk pages (in an attempted circumvention I would guess). I removed it and they complained that it was against Wikipedia rules to do that. I'm concerned they're going to be a problem again so I would like to know where to find more info on the policies about this."

The policies in question are WP:EL and WP:SPAM. Be careful not to hit WP:3RR as well.  :) --Yamla 03:15, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Wonder pets ming-ming duckling.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Wonder pets ming-ming duckling.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
