Just a note to say that I have removed some [or an] image[s] from the page beacuse they were speediable under either:

  • Category:Images with no fair use rationale
  • Category:Images with no copyright tag
  • Category:Images with no source

Or similar category. Iolakana|(talk) 17:54, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] XM Template Image

The XM image had to be removed because it doesn’t fall under public domain. Please read WP:FUC. Thanks. Redd Dragon 03:03, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Hey, I deleted it because you can only use public domain images in user boxes. The XM image you used was fair use. Fair use is okay to use in articles but not in user boxes. The Sirius dog I made for the Sirius Userbox isn’t the Sirius dog. It is a dog I made because I cannot use the real Sirius dog. If you were to create your own XM logo that wasn’t done by XM it would be totally okay to use it. I have no grudge against XM; I actually created the XM user box. I'll work on an XM image for the user box if you want. It just can't be XM's official logo Redd Dragon 19:32, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

Just created a non-XM image for the userbox. Should be okay to use for the userbox. Redd Dragon 19:45, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you!

Hey thanks again for restoring my question :) ...do u have any idea who could've erased it and why?--Cosmic girl 19:41, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User Page Suggestion

Consider moving your user boxes to a sub-page. Start from scratch on your main user page. Although consider only including information relevant to your editing behavior. For example: Video games, Genetics, Calculus. But don't ask me about sub-page creation. Go use the search engine on your side-bar. Use "Wikipedia:" in front of things Wikipedia-related. -Shadow the Edge-hog 05:06, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Huh? Many people have userboxes that don't apply to their edits. How do I start a sub-page? Thanks, XM 12:25, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, it's just my opinion. You can have all the user boxes you like saying stuff about: I live here on this street in this town in this state/province of this country. Of course, consider stalkers, assasins, or those people in chat rooms that want to come to your house and... let's not go there. But saying you're a cat lover is cool. Anyway, you create a sub page by typing parent page/sub page with brackets around it. For you, User:XM/Userboxes (of course backets surround it). If performed corectly, it should come out like this: User:XM/Userboxes. Copy the wikimarkup on your userpage, click on the link and BAM!! Paste it on and save page. Oh, and if you need help with the wikimarkup, type: "Wikipedia:" followed by the topic of interest. No space. Cheers! -Shadow the Edge-hog 19:47, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Thank you. Ill try to learn more about the user subpages when I get a bit more time. i've been a bit busy lately, but thanks for the tip. XM 03:50, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
