http://www.xlr8r.com "Accelerating Music and Culture" is the motto that has directed XLR8R Magazine for over thirteen years. XLR8R focuses on emerging trends in music, style and technology with editorial designed to break new artists and defy cultural paradigms. Our design, an open forum for new discoveries in photography and illustration, has been hailed as some of the most advanced in the magazine world. We integrate input and direction from a variety of designers and illustrators by featuring a "guest" designer with each issue, along with a group of regular freelance contributors. XLR8R constantly strives to challenge its readers and provide a unique and inspiring experience both in print, online, and through our events and special projects. After much hard work, each issue of XLR8R now comes with an INCITE CD Sampler of music and software tracks, and is distributed internationally and marketed at forward-thinking events around the world.
XLR8R covers new music of every genre - from electronic music to hip-hop and rock, both mainstream and independent alike. XLR8R’s readers gain insight into the ideas and sounds that will prevail in the months and years to come through comprehensive product previews, in-depth interviews, style spreads starring design and music icons, and travel pieces from across the globe from a pantheon of international artists. XLR8R unearths the trends of tomorrow for today’s thirsty readership.
