[edit] Mount Rainier

Hi there, I only spent a day there this past summer, far too little time. I didn't ski, but I did hike a little. There is a visitor center called Hurricane Ridge, that has nice views of mountain meadows. Elsewhere in the park is the main visitor center (I think it was called Paradise) that had a number of trailheads. By the time I got there, the clouds and fog had come in, so I couldn't actually see the mountain peak. --Kyoko 13:43, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I am an amateur astronomer, I have an old C-14 SCT which is fun to use. I did manage to see the southern cross, Omega Centauri, and the Jewel Box while I was visiting Hawaii last summer. WilliamKF 18:18, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
