Xingtai (Simplified Chinese: 邢台; pinyin: Xíngtai) is a prefecture-level city in southern Hebei province, China. It borders Shijiazhuang and Hengshui in the north, Handan in the south, and the provinces of Shandong and Shanxi in the east and west respectively.

In the late 1990s Xingtai became the focus of attention for a local blood bank's use of blood contaminated with the HIV virus, causing many residents to develop AIDS.[1]
