Beat 100.9 XHSON-FM broadcasts electronica, dance music, and house music. It became a very famous radio station when it came out in the early 1990s[citation needed].

Beat 100.9 "VW GIVE AWAY" has been very popular when the station gave away the first Vw Beetle.
