Look, it's great that you've added info to other articles. Thanks. But, first off, nobody here will take you seriously if you don't calm down and stop ranting. If you use insults and abuse to talk about people, you'll soon be blocked from contributing. Second, your Outback game is a local phenomenon that is not significant to people outside your area. No, coming up with a petition signed by 100 people wouldn't accomplish anything. Coming up with some reliable sources that have written about your games - newspapers, that sort of thing - not blogs - would be a good start. FreplySpang (talk) 17:31, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wills Outback and the corresponding AfD page

Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Deville (Talk) 17:36, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy: There is no excuse for personal attacks on other contributors. Do not make them. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that you may be blocked for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thanks. Naconkantari e|t||c|m 17:37, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

someone please tell me how to talk to people wtf i ask questoins and u guys ignore me and u say no personal attacks well i dont need someone to google me, find nothign and attack me by saying im using wiki to pimp my site. i dont need wiki sorry i dont care about people in cali finding me i want people in IL to see it and read about it, trust me u let me keep this up and itll get the hits u want

Why would anyone want to answer your questions, when all we get from you is swearing and insults? FreplySpang (talk) 17:47, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

you say delete my thing and say vanity- i look at it and its not vanity at all so maybe ...explain yourself?

i'm sorry i just felt it was an insult from you with what you originally said so i blew up, i take a lot of pride in my game and theres a ton of people who are very VERY into it. please read my newest additions to that uh...deletion petition page thing? and im not saying let me keep my thing cuz i contributed elsewhere, i was pointing out that im not just some kid trying to play pranks and that i don tsee whats the harm in my page when other articles are totally wrong.

Thanks for the apology. I'm sorry that I came across as insulting - I should have remembered that you're a new contributor, and explained myself more fully. "Vanity" is shorthand for "promoting your own project" - see Wikipedia:Vanity for more information. Nominating an article for deletion means that we take five days to talk about whether it should be deleted or not, so that's what we're doing at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wills Outback. But generally, we try not to keep articles that are not going to be useful to people outside a particular state (for example). FreplySpang (talk) 18:15, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, no problem, I guess if that's how wiki is then I have no case, I just don't understand why, but maybe i can make a central IL wiki =P anyways i didnt know how long people had to talk about it, sorry for blowing up, i still think it should stand because i really don't htink its promoting me or my site, i will glady take name and/or url off it that's how people feel.

[edit] Spam

Regarding this edit to Napoleon Dynamite; please don't insert random crap and spam into articles. It's disrespectful to those who've worked on them, it's disrespectful to the rest of us, and it advances your cause by not the merest metre. Rob Church (talk) 17:43, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

As to this edit, please be aware that the road to being blocked is lined with personal attacks on other users. Rob Church (talk) 17:45, 1 April 2006 (UTC)

dont worry about it robby boy its taken care of, it just took 30 min to get the answer i wanted sorry i had to spam, look at NBA too i put that message there. thought i could get someone to help me =/

Spam is not an acceptable method of getting attention. I will warn you that you are well on your way to being blocked. —Cuiviénen, Saturday, 1 April 2006 @ 18:46 (UTC)

ok stop spamming me with warnings?

[edit] Personal attacks

Hi, I'm here because Kinu complained about this attack at the Personal attack intervention noticeboard. Higher up on this talk page you apologized for personal attacks you had made earlier, but then you did it again. I'm not going to block you for it, partially because it was several hours ago now, and partially because I understand how frustrating it can be to have a page nominated for deletion and then be confronted with an alphabet soup of abbreviations you have to be a Wikipedia insider to understand when you ask for the reason. Still, attacks like the one you wrote against Kinu really aren't acceptable, and I'm asking you to stop by User talk:Kinu and apologize. And next time you get really pissed off at someone, do what I do: write a long furious rant full of personal attacks, and then hit "Cancel" instead of "Save page". That way, you get it out of your system, and no one gets hurt. Angr (talkcontribs) 07:35, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
