I'm Jesse Z., better known on the internet as Xezlec. I live in an apartment on the South side of Austin, Texas, USA. I have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (more specifically, the computer engineering subfield) from the University of Texas at Austin. My technical areas in school were computer design and signal processing, but these were more or less randomly chosen and certainly do not reflect any desire on my part to restrict myself to such a narrow range of electrical engineering topics.

My interests are mostly science-related. I am interested in many kinds of engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, and other general science topics. I am also interested in linguistics, electronic music, and science fiction.

I'm a little wary about designating myself fr-2. I'm really more like 1.8. But no one cares anyway.
