Xenophily means having an affection for unknown objects or human beings. It is the opposite of xenophoby.

The word is a synthesis from the Greek "xenos" (ξένος) (unknown, foreign) und "philos" (love, attraction).

In a more sexual context xenophily is a desire to look for sexual intercourse preferably in unfamiliar situations (e.g. in a church or park) or especially with absolutely unknown persons.

It can also mean someone being sexually attracted to a person of a different race.

[edit] In Fiction

Xenophilia is a theme found in science fiction, primarly the space opera sub-genre, in which explore the consequences of love and sexual intercourse between humans and extraterrestrials.
