Despite the description included, which reads "lower parts white, with or without black margins to the shields," it looks like the specimen in the gallery section does have ventral scales with black margins. It has been suggested to me that this specimen may instead be an example of X. flavipunctatus. --Jwinius 14:54, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

I believe this has been checked and confirmed to be a X. piscator. Glad to see that original descriptions, even old ones, can come in handy. Shyamal 16:10, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
